Yesterday's yellow weather warning covered most of Devon and the South West, Bath and Bristol, and a good chunk of Eastern Wales and the West Midlands, though the storm drifted eastwards and missed Plymouth. Sunday's bad weather saw parts of Plymouth City Centre flood, as well as a stretch of Wolseley Road, Central Park Avenue, and King Street. Heavy rain and strong winds are also predicted for the region - parts of Plymouth have already seen heavy downpours through some of the morning and further showers could be seen this afternoon While yesterday's storm missed Plymouth, instead heading through East Devon and Somerset, the bad weather has returned today.Ĭurrent predictions will see Plymouth hit by heavy rain and potential thunder from around 10pm on Tuesday, continuing through the early hours of Wednesday morning.
